May is Mental Health Awareness Month focusing on community support, well-being, and showing that no one is alone. Taking the time to reach out to those who you might not talk to frequently or even giving a compliment to a stranger making their day. Mental Health is important for everyone no matter what age. Make sure you take the time to give yourself a break and give a hand, or ear to those who might need it this month.
We all have mental health, it’s shaped by our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Our mental health impacts how we think, feel, and behave, but many of us don’t notice the impact it has on our lives and miss opportunities to get or give support when it’s needed. Participants will learn more about tools we can use to support our mental health including mindfulness, behavioral activation, checking your thinking, self care, and gratitude.
